Step inside the fast-moving world of artificial intelligence with Dennis Gleeson, a former Director of Strategy in the CIA’s Directorate of Intelligence.

Drawing on decades of experience aligning technology and information for analysts across the U.S. Intelligence Community, Gleeson brings a clear, grounded perspective to a topic that often feels opaque or overhyped. In this accessible talk, he explains how tools like ChatGPT actually work, explores practical ways they can be used, and examines important questions surrounding their impact on education, employment, and public life. Gleeson is the author of “Artificial Intelligence for Analysis: The Road Ahead,” published in Studies in Intelligence, and has led national and international discussions on AI adoption, including presentations at MIT’s Innovation in Action and regional conferences in the Caribbean.
