What can you do to support the young people in your life?
Join us on Thursday, October 24th at 6:30 PM and bring your youth grades 6-8. Youth and adults will be split off into two groups. This separation aims to create a comfortable environment where participants feel free to express their true thoughts and feelings without concern for judgment.
Youth will learn about fostering healthy friendships, identifying unhealthy relationship traits, understanding personal boundaries, and how those boundaries apply to all relationships. In addition, youth will be educated on teen dating safety and how to access support/resources for themselves or a friend who may be experiencing mistreatment by another individual. After the presentation, youth are invited to stay to make a friendship bracelet. Register your youth in grades 6-8 here.
Adults/parents/caregivers will be provided with the facts of teen dating safety, in addition to supportive resources. There will also be a Q&A session to voice concerns and connect with Interval House community educators.
