Registration begins January 19 for residents; January 30 for nonresidents
In this monthly club, kids learn about a comic book/graphic novel from our children’s collection and participate in activities including drawing comic book characters, creating their own comic, and more. This month highlights a brand-new nonfiction graphic novel that fans of Lauren Tarshis’s I Survived series are sure to love! Find out how a thirteen-year-old got lost in a snowstorm for 9 days while battling subzero temperatures and snow blindness and lived to tell this true tale in Lost at Windy River: A True Story of Survival. Afterwards, participants will be challenged to write and illustrate their own survival story.
