Friends of the Library Annual Meeting

Friends of the Welles-Turner Memorial Library, volunteers, and community members are invited to our Annual Meeting celebrating the accomplishments of the year.  This year's meeting will include a short business meeting, our scholarship winner, and volunteer awards.  Refreshments will be served.

We are excited to hear from our guest speak, Dom Amore.  Dom has been writing about sports in Connecticut since 1982 and has won more than 30 state, regional, and national awards.  He is the author of "A Franchise on the Rise," about the first 20 years of the Yankees, published in 2018.  Dom's next book, "More Than a Game," co-authored with Jim Calhoun, will be released by Woodhall press in the summer of 2025.

All are welcome.  Registration is not required.
