Due to the space limitations of this program, registration begins by phone (860-652-7720) for Glastonbury residents with a valid library card on January 12th at 9 a.m. and opens online for all on January 19th at 9 a.m. This activity is for adults (18+) only.

Create your own soft and fuzzy cactus in this hands-on workshop led by Octavia of Pop Up Art School. Learn how to use a barbed needle to sculpt wool roving into an adorable desert dweller complete with heart-shaped flowers. When your cactus is finished, “plant” it in a mini terra-cotta pot to take home and display. No prior experience is necessary, just bring your creativity and a love of crafting!
