The Kenn Morr Band is touring in support of Still Shining, an album recorded at Sandy Brook Studios in Colebrook, CT. Featuring eleven original songs, it highlights lush three-part harmonies and vibrant instrumental interplay. Radio Airplay’s Andre Avanessian praises it as “passionately performed and tenderly written,” blending poetic lyrics and understated performances with a unique musical identity. This soulful collection affirms the band’s ability to create meaningful, captivating music.
Inspired by folk legends like Gordon Lightfoot and Jackson Browne, Kenn Morr found his musical home in Connecticut, forming a band with violinist Tom Hagymasi, bassist Pat Ryan, and drummer Tido Holtkamp. Known for dynamic performances and rich harmonies, the group has shared stages with icons like John Sebastian and Eric Burdon. With eight albums, including work with legendary producer Bob Johnston, Still Shining continues their legacy, earning airplay across the U.S. and Europe.
This event and other in this series are sponsored by the Friends of Welles-Turner Memorial Library in memory of Isabella Waters, who was a generous library supporter.
