Join us for an engaging presentation by Deb Dauphinais, an accomplished scuba diver and passionate advocate for ocean conservation with a deep connection to the waters of New England.
Deb will share her extensive knowledge of marine life, providing insights into the fish, invertebrates, and plant species that thrive just off our local beaches. Her talk will include captivating stories of underwater encounters, fascinating details about often-overlooked marine invertebrates, and surprising facts—such as the presence of stunning corals in our region.
With hundreds of dives along the coasts of Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Maine, as well as countless hours exploring tide pools and beaches, Deb brings a wealth of firsthand experience. She has also served as a dedicated volunteer at both the New England Aquarium and Mystic Aquarium, contributing as an educator and a member of the marine mammal rescue program.
