Join us for an inspiring afternoon of poetry and prose featuring six Connecticut authors published by Wising Up Press, a Pennsylvania-based publisher committed to fostering empathy, connection, and understanding. Authors will share selections from international anthologies exploring themes such as aging, joy, illness, belonging, and interfaith dialogue.
Readers include Cassandra Angelo (Glastonbury), Gabriella Brand (North Haven), Ginny Connors (West Hartford), Pegi Deitz Shea (Rockville), Tiffany Washington (Hartford), and Glastonbury's Poet Laureate Victoria Nordlund. Together, they offer powerful reflections on the challenges and hopes that shape our lives today.
