WTML and TALK invite you to help us kick off Pride Month with CT's Stonewall Speakers to learn about the organization—how, why they were started and the choice of the Stonewall name—and hear real-life coming out stories, personal experiences, and journeys of self-discovery. You can also learn how you can be a better ally to the LGBTQ+ community. Q&A to follow.

Stonewall Speakers, a program of the Connecticut Stonewall Foundation, Inc., is an all-volunteer speaker's bureau composed of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, pansexual, queer people and their allies. Their speakers give their hearts, time, and travel expenses to help eliminate hate and promote understanding. Speaking engagements generally include two or more panelists and combine personal life stories with a question and answer session. They speak to thousands of youth and adults annually. Stonewall Speakers is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1988.

TALK (Truth in Action with Love & Kindness) promotes community discussion and engagement on social issues, the environment, and civic concerns through truth and compassion and aims to to inspire all citizens to become involved in addressing the issues that involve them; to provide the best environment we can for future generations; to be open to discussions from all points of view.
