You are invited to join us for a fun and educational celebration of Lunar New Year, a special holiday that marks the beginning of a new year in many cultures across Asia! Celebrate the Year of the Horse with stories, crafts, games, and hands-on activities for the whole family.

Event Highlights

1:30–2:15 pm
Lunar New Year Presentation & Storytime 

  • Suggested for families with kids ages 3-10 
  • Includes a cooking demonstration
  • Followed by a colorful paper dumpling soup craft (not edible)
  • Crafts available for the first 50 children

2:30–4:30 pm 

  • Photo booth with traditional clothing
  • Arts & crafts:  Horse Lantern and more
  • Try Chinese and Korean writing using a magic cloth
  • Games and more festive activities
