Join us for an introductory lesson on eclipses from Chris Markiewicz of the Astronomical Society of Greater Hartford. Learn the mechanics of why/how eclipses happen and safe viewing techniques (using eclipse glasses, making a pinhole viewer or a ‘cereal box’ viewer, etc.).
Information presented will be most suitable for ages 10+.
Safe viewing glasses will be available for attendees of the program.
