Welles-Turner Memorial Library and Glastonbury Youth & Family Services invite you to a compelling and informative seminar that sheds light on the realities of human trafficking.

Led by Ashley Phan—CEO & Founder of We Are One, Inc., CT native, child trafficking survivor, and 2025 DOJ Survivor Voices Award nominee—this community conversation will explore how trafficking affects local communities and what we can do to stop it.

Discussion topics include:

  • How trafficking occurs in CT and beyond
  • Warning signs, risk factors, and how to spot them
  • What to do if you or someone else is at risk
  • How teens, families, and community members can make a difference

This seminar is especially valuable for teens, young adults, parents, educators, and service providers. Understanding the issue is the first step toward prevention and action.
