This month we're reading: "Wild Dark Shore" by Charlotte McConaghy.

A family living in isolation on the remote island of Shearwater—home to the world’s largest seed bank and now abandoned by all but the Salt family—find their routine upended when a mysterious woman, Rowan, washes ashore during the worst storm the island has ever seen. As Dominic Salt and his three children nurse her back to health, Rowan begins to imagine a life where she might finally belong, while the Salts feel her presence may be exactly what they need after years of solitude. But Rowan is hiding the real reason she came to Shearwater, and when she stumbles upon sabotaged radios and a freshly dug grave, she realizes Dominic has secrets of his own. With storms intensifying and trust fraying, they must confront the dangers surrounding them and decide whether they can protect both the vital seeds in their care and the fragile future they might build together.
