Gentle yoga is a way to calm the nervous system and equally strengthen and stretch the muscles.
In this deeply relaxing, beginner-friendly class, Shawna Rocheleau (yoga instructor, holistic food & body image coach, reiki practitioner, and owner of EmbodyYou) will guide students through a series of gentle postures held long enough to connect to the breath and the present moment. Slow movement can also be expected before settling into a cozy shavasana (final relaxation).
Attendees should wear comfortable clothes and bring their own yoga mat and water.
