Immerse yourself in Italian culture this October with "La Dolce Vita," a series presented by Anna Oliva where she will share her love for Italy through different topics each week, guiding participants on a journey to discover the country’s rich history, cuisine, language, and hidden gems. Born and raised in Italy, Anna has a deep passion for sharing her culture and language. After working and living on three continents and in five countries, she settled in the U.S., bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience. A fervent cook and advocate of Italian culture, she hosts Italian language lessons, helps people reconnect to their Italian roots, and offers unique travel insights.

This week we trace the transformation of Italy from a mosaic of competing kingdoms to a unified nation. This session provides a concise yet enlightening overview of Italy’s diverse past and the pivotal changes that compelled many Italians to seek new opportunities abroad.
