Come talk books with other bibliophiles! This book group will meet on the fourth Thursday of the month. Limited copies of the current selection will be available at the Lending Desk. Registration is not required.

This month we will be reading "The Lions of Fifth Avenue" by Fiona Davis.

In 1913, Laura Lyons lives with her family in an apartment inside the New York Public Library, where her husband is superintendent, but her growing passion for journalism and women’s rights pulls her toward Greenwich Village’s radical Heterodoxy Club—until a series of book thefts at the library forces her to choose between her ambitions and her home. Eighty years later, her granddaughter Sadie Donovan, newly appointed curator at the library, faces similar turmoil when rare items begin to vanish from an exhibit she’s running, leading her to uncover long-buried family secrets connected to the library’s darkest history.
